Anne Heap
Anne Heap is the owner of Pink Cake Box, a custom cake studio that specializes in creating cakes, cupcakes & cookie favors. Anne began her career in advertising in 2001 after graduating from Boston College. Her passion for baking led her to the French Culinary Institute in 2005.
Anne and her work have been featured in numerous national magazines and television shows, including Food Network, TLC, WeTV, Bravo & CNN. Anne was recognized in 2013 by Dessert Professional as one of the top 10 cake artists in North America and was recognized by Bake Magazine in 2014 as one the most influential cake artists in America. Her teaching methods have been well received internationally and are available through her DVDs and online Craftsy classes. Her techniques are easy to learn and will have you caking like a pro in no time!

Joanne Costa
Joanne's love of pastry started with earning her Girl Scout baking badge! Since then, she has graduated from the French Culinary Institute and The New School in NYC, where she also completed an internship with Gail Watson Custom Cake. Joanne has advanced training with industry experts such as Nicholas Lodge, Toba Garrett and, of course Anne Heap.
Pink Cake Box has been Joanne's "sugar home" since it opened in 2005. As a senior cake artist, she strives to bring a level of excellence to all she does. Whether Joanne is baking a cake or sculpting a tiny sugar flower, she enjoys helping herself and others reach new decorating heights!

Anna D. Puchalski
Anna is a classically trained sculptor and illustrator who started her career in cake decorating with Ron Ben Israel in 2000. Since then she has worked for a number of well known cake studios in the New York area doing complex sugar work and design. Her specialties include freehand painting, figurative sculpture and color theory. As a teacher she has worked primarily with trained chefs and professionals, providing instruction from the basics of sugar work to complex techniques. Realistic gum paste flowers and foliage are a particular area of expertise and she is always seeking to improve her methods and make them easier to teach.
She has worked at Pink Cake Box since 2008, where she is currently the Director of Sugar Education.
